TotalControl was born back in 2008, when QEII Trust required a way to charge staff varying amounts for parking around Sir Charles Gairdner hospital. Initially, it was a membership system that enabled highly customisable pricing options – depending on the patron, carpark and time of day. The TotalControl experience centres around making card-based payments at the boom gate.
After years of expansion and developments, the system is now employed across the majority of Metropolitan Health staff carparks. It incorporates features like salary sacrifice interface, flexible charging, patron messaging, on and offsite payment top-ups, scheduled and remote opening and closing, guard override and a variety of configuration options to suit different environments.
